BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase Launched for 62.60 lakh

BMW has launched the 3 Series Long Wheelbase edition in India for Rs 62,60,000 (ex-showroom). BMW claims it to be the longest car in the segment with the most spacious second-seat row and the most powerful. This is BMW’s second Long Wheelbase launch of the year after the iX1 Long Wheelbase

Powertrain

The BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase is powered by a 2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It produces 254.4 bhp at 5,000 rpm and 400 Nm from 1550-4,400 rpm. The car sprints from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.2 seconds. It has three driving modes - Eco Pro, Comfort and Sport.

Design

The 3 Series LWB follows BMW’s iconic design language, including the kidney grille and twin circular headlights. It has aluminium design elements and a visibly long appearance, adding to its premium look. The 3 Series LWB is available in four colour options: Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey, M Carbon Black, and Arctic Race Blue. 

Interior and Features

The interiors benefit from the new Aluminium Rhinomicle Anthracite finish, and the standard M Sport package includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel, creating a sporty ambience. The driver and front passenger seats are electrically adjustable Comfort Seats with extendable thigh support. 

In terms of equipment, it’s loaded with features such as:

  • Twin-screen BMW curved display

  • Panoramic sunroof

  • Ambient lighting

  • Three-zone climate control with active carbon filters 

  • 360-degree camera

The BMW 3 Series LWB is packed with a combination of active and passive safety features that include:
