It's A Four!

Season 1 of our brand new series: Cars with stars has set a new benchmark!

What is the significance of any business anniversary? It is a celebration,surely but also a reminder of where you started, and how far you have come and makes you reflect on the journey so far. In short, it’s an internal report card for you to assess, rewind and to continue lunging forward. We started TopGear India 2.0 in COVID times, surely not the best times, when you are forming a fresh team without any Facetime and team building and the very nature of automotive media is to be outdoors with cars and not with masks. We survived, managed and blossomed and today after 48 issues, our numbers speak for themselves. As a magazine, we take prime self space in any magazine stands, and can proudly self-boast that our readership and circulation numbers are amongst the highest in the industry. Our Social media accountInstagram has 450,000 + Subscribers which is the second highest for an Auto magazine in India. On YouTube, we deliver 2.5 million views monthly and on Facebook we still have 1.6 million subscribers.

We have experimented with our content and tried to break the bar. Our aim has always been to take a fresh approach to things rather than imitating anything from anyone and rather become a source of inspiration for rest to follow. This approach has led us to conceptualise a high-value production series - Cars with Stars which is streaming on our youtube and has more than 10 million + views. And to make our Annual issue special we dialled the icon star Allu Arjun, stroked his petrol side and flew him to Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi to pose against one of the four Audi e-tron GTs in the world. We also set up a lap time and raced with him. Anyone who works with big celebrities knows that the entourage and all the logistics and detailed planning with these big stars is an event in itself, sort of a nightmare. This is also where all motorheads have a common heartbeat. Once on the racetrack, the superstardom of Allu Arjun took a back seat and he totally gave himself to us and happily did everything without a body double and with a wide grin on his face. We stopped when the circuit guys came almost threatening with their guns for us to stop filming. He is not only a very humble and affable Star but also a quick learner, perhaps the ingredients required for delivering the biggest hits like Pushpa.
