TVS Supply Chain Solutions Finalises Deal with Daimler Truck AG

TVS Supply Chain Solutions announced that it has entered a 5-year contract with Daimler Truck South East Asia Pte Ltd, a Daimler Truck AG company. This deal will get them into an Integrated Supply Chain Solutions (ISCS) service in Singapore.

Goals of the Partnership

Multiple goals were set for the partnership to succeed over the next 5 years. The first is that the partnership seeks to enhance supply chain operations, supporting Daimler Truck South East Asia's distributor network, dealers, and workshops across 16 countries in the Asia-Pacific region from its strategic logistics hub in Singapore.

Second, It will also focus on efficiently managing 8,000 SKUs and 65,000 order lines each year, handling a diverse array of parts with different storage needs.

Third, it will ensure smooth transportation across various modes, including air, Full Container Load (FCL), Less than Container Load (LCL), and road transport, along with customs clearance and Dangerous Goods (DG) declarations.

Fourth, TVS SCS is offering a tailored IT solution suite centred on a custom online platform that provides inventory visibility and ordering for Daimler Truck Parts Centre (DTPC) Southeast Asia customers. The IT solution also offers DTPC SEA integrated capabilities for inventory management, parts replenishment ordering, parts pricing, invoicing, and data analytics.

The positive impact of this partnership is already evident as TVS Supply Chain Solutions' shares closed at Rs 176.80, with a gain of Rs 7.50 or 4.43% today on the BSE, reflecting the market's confidence in the company's future prospects.
