Top 5 Things to Know About Upcoming Mercedes EQA 250+

Mercedes has revealed their most affordable EV, EQA in the Indian market. While it is yet to be launched on July 8, we have some details of the upcoming EV. You can book one for yourself right now by paying a token money of 1.5 Lakhs. Here are 5 things you should know about it before that 

1) Powertrain 

The EQA derives uses a 70.5 kWh battery pack whose power is delivered to the wheels by a single motor. This motor produces a power output of 187 and 385 Nm of torque. This motor can accelerate it from 0-100 kmph in just 8.6 seconds. 

2) Charging 

When it comes to home charging, the EQA supports 11 kW AC charging that can increase the battery percentage from 0-100 percent in 7 hours and 15 minutes. If you want to fast charge it while on a run, you can connect it to a 100 kW DC fast charger that charges it from 10-80 percent in a mere 35 minutes. Once on a full charge, it will last you 560 km. 

3) Design

The EQA looks pretty similar to the GLA. On the front, it gets a blacked headlights, a closed black grille with starry elements and a LED bar. The rear gets connected tail lights while the 19-inch alloys are the highlights on the side. It gets multiple hues like Polar White, Night Black, Cosmos Black, Mountain Grey, High-tech Silver, Spectral Blue and two Manufactur paint schemes: Patagonia Red Metallic and Mountain Grey Magno shades.

4) Interior and Features

As for the exterior, the interior is similar to the GLA. The theme here is different in form of a dual-tone Rose Gold and Titanium Grey Pearl theme. Some of its best features include two 10-inch displays in form of a digital driver’s display and another infotainment system, a heads-up display, dual-zone AC, a 12-speaker Burmester sound system, connected car tech and power-adjustable memory seats with lumbar support. To keep passengers safe, it gets 7 airbags, an ADAS suite, and a 306-degree camera. 

5) Competitors and Expected Price

The EQA will lock horns with the BMW iX1, Kia EV6, Volvo C4o Recharge, Volvo XC40 Recharge. We expect it to get an ex-showroom price of 69 Lakh.
