This Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro is a Mercedes F1 Fan’s Paradise

Attention all Mercedes F1 Fans! Mercedes has dropped a special edition of the GT 63 inspired by their Formula 1 project. They have named this beauty the Motorsport Collector's Edition. It is a mean-looking, performance-driven monster that will get only 200 models. Find all about it ahead: 

Design of AMG GT 63 Pro Motorsport Collector Edition

If you saw the special Singapore livery of the Mercedes F1 team, you can spot the similarities with this special edition. It has a black hue with Petronas' aqua blue spread across different parts. What are these parts? The front splitter, side skirt, shoulder line, window line, and the rear splitters. That's not all, it is also around the 21-inch wheels of the monster and on the brake callipers. These wheels are wrapped with  Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R Cup tyres. There are 295/30 ZR21 at the front and 305/30 ZR21 at the rear. There are a couple of more changes other than these aqua bits; these are the blacked-out grille and the multiple tri stars that start on the door and wrap through the side to the rear. The optional rear spoiler of the regular AMG 63 pro also makes its way here.

When you enter the cabin, you will notice that the black and aqua colour scheme is continued there, too. The seats are finished with Nappa leather and microfiber, and their stitching is aqua blue. The door sills also get a black coating while being illuminated in aqua. The car also comes with a unique AMG indoor car cover. It also gets other features like a 15-speaker, Burmester High-End 3D Surround Sound System, 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting.  

Powertrain of AMG GT 63 Pro Motorsport Collectors Edition

Under the hood of the Motorsport Collectors Edition is the same 4.0‑litre, V8 twin-turbo engine that generates 612 bhp. Mercedes has claimed it has done aerodynamic fine-tuning with reduced lift and more powerful cooling that helps in enhancing driving dynamics.
