Tata Punch 2024 Launched At Rs 6.13 Lakh

Tata has launched the updated version of the Punch at a starting price of Rs 6.13 lakh. It comes with some feature changes in different variants. The most significant of these is that the 10.25-inch infotainment screen makes an entry in the Punch.

The exterior of the updated model has not changed much. The big additions come in the cabin, where there are some new features. These start with the digital instrument cluster becoming standard on the Punch and the addition of the 10.25-inch infotainment panel. 

Variants of Punch 2024

The variants have been jumbled around quite a lot. The Pure Rhythm, Accomplished, Accomplished S and Creative Flagship have been discontinued. The base variants, i.e. Pure, Adventure and Adventure Rhythm, do not get any changes. That being said, there are new Pure (O), Adventure S and Adventure + S variants. The Accomplished Dazzle and Creative also get some changes. The Pure (O) trim adds features like power windows, power ORVMs, wheel covers and central locking over the Pure variant. 
The Adventure S and Adventure+ S add features like a sunroof, automatic headlamps and wipers, a height-adjustable driver seat, and rear AC vents to the regular version. 
From the Accomplished variant, you now get a new 10.25-inch infotainment panel that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also offers features like LED DRLs and tail lamps, projector headlamps, fog lamps, hyper-style wheels, a rear wiper and defogger, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, keyless entry, a height, adjustable driver seat, and a cooled glovebox. 
The Creative + variant adds a wireless charger, 16-inch alloy wheels, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and puddle lamps. The Creative+ S adds a sunroof to these features. 
If you want to buy the Punch with CNG, you can now choose between 7 variants now as opposed to the 5 before. These include the Pure, Adventure, Adventure Rhythm, Adventure S Adventure+S, Accomplished and Accomplished+S. 

Powertrain of Punch 2024

The powertrain of the Punch is not changed in the new version. It is powered by a 1.2-litre engine that can run on either petrol or CNG. On petrol, it is capable of producing  86.5 bhp and 115 Nm and is mated with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT. When running on CNG, it produces 72.5 bhp and 103 Nm of torque. The CNG variants only get a 5-speed manual gearbox.
