Tata brings back their #DARK magic! The crowd-favourite Dark editions have now made their way to the facelifted Nexon and Nexon EV. Tata is already offering their latest SUVs in a plethora of "Personas" by mixing and matching variants. That's not even a joke according to the manufacturer, you can spec out your Nexon in 73 different variants by mixing and matching from the personas.
What's new
The Dark Editions comes with completely blacked-out exteriors and interiors. Inky 16-inch alloys and logos are must-haves for the theme going here. Moreover from now on there are no blue badges on the EVs instead, the #dark badges appear in its place with a distinctive gloss finish. Coming to the interiors you get a similar all-black dashboard and more #dark mascot on the front headrests.
Pricing
Since this is just a cosmetic package over the existing personas, you have options starting from the mid-spec of its ICE counterpart. The petrol variant starts from Rs 11.45 lakhs, demanding only a premium of Rs 35,000. In contrast, the Nexon EV Dark Edition is only available in the top-spec, along with a long-range motor. Priced at Rs 19.49 lakhs the Nexon EV Dark edition is only Rs 10,000 more expensive compared to the Nexon EV Empowered LR (top-spec).
What else
The sub-4-meter SUV is offered in plenty of powertrains including 1.5-litre diesel, 1.2-litre petrol and Electric. These powertrains churn out 84.5 PS, 88.2 PS and 106.4 kW of power respectively. The feature list and abundant use of piano black are carried forward to the latest Dark editions.
