Nissan Debuts 2025 Kicks

Remember the sneaker named compact SUV from Nissan which we Indians didn't care enough? Well, the Nissan Kicks looks much more like a promising product now.

Nissan Kicks always had a peppy engine and now it is not just packing the punch but kicking the bag with AWD kick-off. The AWD variants of the SUV have a separate snow-driving mode. That's only part of it, the new generation Kicks has major upgrades where it lacked before. Read the full article to know more.

Exteriors

Nissan Kicks was sold across the world and made on two different platforms. Kicks used to get a more prominent V-motion grille elsewhere, which was the face of Nissan's brand identity till now.

The latest rendition is drastically plateaued in the front. Let’s just say following the boxy trend even made Nissan sloppy into Kick-ass. We have vertical slacks cutting the front grille in perfect slices and adjoining with vertical light stripes. At the peak of the grille narrow headlights spread into the sides. Which will please a lot of macho bonnet SUV lovers.

Talking about sides, the brand claims to have taken inspiration from ‘athletic sneaker soles’ for the side skirts. Besides on the sides, the bulged fenders and plastic cladding on the wheel arches give a rugged personality.

The rear design has a full-length connecting black piano bar from one tail light to another. But please note those are not illuminated. This generation is on a global SUV platform that comes to life by joining hands with Mitsubishi.

Interior

The cabin experience has now been elevated to the new age with dual displays, panoramic sunroof, BOSE speakers in headrests, 360-degree cameras and more. A soft touch material on the dashboard resembles carbon fibre weaves and goes well with the full black theme.

The 12-inch infotainment screen also comes with a new graphic interface and makes life easier with a physical volume knob. That said, the SR top variants sport a touch-controlled climate control unit. Nissan also proudly presents their latest Zero Gravity seat design for more comfort to passengers.

However, we have no word from Nissan on the India launch. Even if it is bound to happen, it will be only after a year or more.
