Mercedes Maybach GLS 600 Facelift Launched at Rs. 3.35 Crore

Mercedes has revealed the new Maybach GLS 600, which will now serve as the flagship model for Mercedes in India. It was launched along with the Mercedes AMG S63 E-Performance, which now comes with a hybrid powertrain. The SUV gets a price tag of 3.35 Crore. Maybach GLS 600 Design

On the front, the Maybach GLS 600 has a radiator grille with chrome elements. This is coupled with a new bumper, with Maybach logo patterns that give it a luxurious touch. These patterns also make their way to the air inlets. Above the grille is the Mercedes Tri-arrow in the form of a hood ornament. Moving to the side, there aren't many changes except for the 23-inch Maybach-centric alloys. Towards the rear, you will find fresh rear lamps along with a Maybach unique tailpipe trim. The SUV has seven metallic colour options: Black, Polar White, Obsidian Black Metallic, Sodalith Blue Metallic, High-tech Silver Metallic Emerald Green Metallic Selenite Grey Metallic. If these don't suit your choice, then you can opt for 3 Manufaktur colours: Diamond White bright, Alpine Grey Solid and Hyacinth Red Metallic or dual-tone variants in High Tech Silver / Nautic Blue, Obsidian Black / Rubellite Red, Obsidian Black /Kalahari Gold Metallic, Emerald Green / Mojave Silver.

Maybach GLS 600 Interior

The changes to the interior start with a new steering wheel with better features and an updated design. The air vents get chrome bits around them. Phone charging will now be more straightforward with two 100 W USB chargers. A 3D Burmester Surround sound system delivers sound. At the rear, passengers are treated with executive seats with a maximum recline angle of 43.5 degrees, MBUX entertainment system and MBUX tablets. A fridge between the rear seats also stores champagne bottles and glasses. Safety is taken care of by the level 2 ADAS suite with features like Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Brake Assist, Active Steering Assist. As standard, it gets Maybach Exclusive mahogany brown or macchiato beige upholstery made of Nappa leather. You can also opt for a Nappa Black as an optional feature. If you like neither, you get the crystal white or silver grey pearl upholstery on extra payments.

Maybach GLS 600 Powertrain. 

The Maybach GLS 600 is not just about luxury; it's also a powerhouse on wheels. It is propelled by a 4.0-litre V8 engine, capable of unleashing a staggering 550 hp and 770 Nm of torque. This beast of an engine catapults the SUV from 0-100 km/h in a mere 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h. The engine is further enhanced by an integrated starter generator tech, ensuring a thrilling and dynamic driving experience.
