Maserati has launched the GranTurismo in India for a starting price of xx. This car was first seen in the international markets in 2022 and is entering the Indian shores 2 years later. For now, Maserati has launched the GranTurismo in the petrol avatar. Here is all you need to know about it:
Design of Maserati GranTurismo
Talking about the looks, it gets the signature Maserati look with a long and low bonnet. This features a grille with the Maserati Trident and black vertical slats. This grille gets air intakes on either sides and headlights above. The side of the car also reminds us of other Maseratis with its tripe vent design. Moving to the rear, you will see sleeker tail lamps that get a triangle like shape. It gets 20-inch wheels on the front while the ones on the rear are 21 inches.
Interior of Maserati GranTurismo
The cabin is where you will notice some major upgrades in the GranTurismo. These start with the large screens replacing a lot of digital buttons. There is a 12.3-inch infotainment screen on the center along with a 8.8-inch display that controls all the HVAC functions. The instrument cluster is also digital and the same size as the infotainment screen at 12.3 inches. The only place you will find some buttons is the updated steering wheel.
Powertrain of Maserati GranTurismo
The GranTurismo derives its power from a 3.0-litre Nettuno V6 that it shares with the MC20. The output of this engine depends on the variant chosen. The first is Modena that offers you a power output of 483 bhp and 600 Nm of torque. This variant can Masaccelerate from 0-100 kmph in 3.9 seconds. It can hit a maximum speed of 302 kmph. The second option is Trofeo that churns out 542 bhp and 650 Nm of torque. This version goes to 100 kmph from a dead top in 3.5 seconds. It can hit a maximum speed of 320 kmph. The transmission duties are handles by an 8-speed automatic transmission that delivers power to all 4 wheels through an AWD system.
Rivals of Maserati GranTurismo
The GranTurismo locks horns with luxury sports cars like the Aston Martin Vantage, Porsche 911, Ferrari Roma and Bentley Continental GT.
