The Upgrades
The new generation of the Kia EV6 will likely follow the design philosophy of the Kia EVs sold globally by making subtle changes to its looks. The highlights look sleek, with C-shaped LEDs giving it an aggressive look. It will also have a more confident 'tiger-nose' front that Kias are famous for. A new front bumper will also give it a more 3D look. The back isn't as new as the front. It has new tail-lamp graphics, but the vertical elements have been omitted. We expect a new bumper design along with renewed alloys.
New Battery Inside
We expect Kia to equip the EV6 with the latest 84kWh battery that made its debut in the Ioniq 5 just some months ago. This battery pack will give the EV6 a better range. For reference, the current model came with a 77.4kWh battery.
Price and Competition
When talking about Ex-showroom prices, the EV6 currently retails at a price ranging from 60.95 lakh to 65.96 Lakh. Kia might add a premium to this price with the new iteration. Its competition will remain the same in the form of the Mercedes Benz EQB, BMW i4 and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
