Jeep has introduced the Wagoneer S Trailhawk version in the international market. It gets significant upgrades over the standard EV SUV, making it a better match for off-roading. While Jeep has not revealed significant details, they said the SUV will have “all the capability of the new production vehicle.”
Design of Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk
When it comes to the design, Jeep has changed the grille on the Wagoneer S Trailhawk and given it an anti-scratch cladding that helps it while off-roading. It has updated the bumpers, adding to them tow hooks. The suspension gets a lift of 2 inches, with new air vents for high-pressure zones in the wheels. The SUV now rides on massive 31.5-inch all-terrain tyres.
Interiors of Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk
The Trailhawk has significant changes on the inside compared to the standard variant. These include an octagonal steering wheel, red switch panel for drive modes, passenger grab handle and diff lock rockers.
Performance of Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk
The Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk is expected to be powered by the same 100.5-kWh battery pack that drives a dual-motor producing 600hp and 800 torque. The standard model has a 0-97 km/h acceleration time of 3.4 seconds and a 483 km range. With all the upgrades, the Trailhawk version might lose some kms of range.
It will get the exact drive modes as the standard model, i.e., Auto, Sand, Snow, Eco, and Sport modes, with the addition of the Rock mode. It now also gets a driver-selectable electronic locking rear axle.
India Launch of Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk
It is very unlikely that the Jeep Wagoneer will make its way to the Indian shores. What we might actually see in India is an updated version of the Compass. This time around, an electric version could be a part of the package with the Compass.
