Hyundai has launched the E CNG variant of the Aura at a starting price of Rs 7.49 Lakh. This will serve as the cheapest option for the sedan with a CNG powertrain. The CNG powertrain can now be had 3 versions, the E, S and SX. Unlike the recently launched Exter Hy-CNG, the Aura E CNG gets only one CNG tank.

Under the hood of the Aura E CNG is a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol mill. It churns out 69 bhp and 95 Nm of torque when powered by CNG while producing 83 Bhp and 114 Nm of torque when you use petrol. It is paired with a single 5-speed manual gearbox. For reference, the petrol-only versions also offer a 5-speed AMT. Hyundai claims that the Aura E CNG can give you 28.4 km/kg when used on CNG.
Features of Aura E CNG The Aura E CNG comes equipped with features like a 3.5-inch MID, height-adjustable driver seat, adjustable headrests for rear seats, and front power windows. To ensure the safety of passengers, it gets six airbags, three-point seat belts for all seats, ABS with EBD seat belt reminder system and a speed alert system.
Price and Rivals of Aura E CNG
The price of the E CNG version of the Aura is 1 Lakh rupees more than the petrol E variant. It rivals the Tigor CNG and Dzire CNG.
