Citroen Expands C3 Lineup with New Mid-Spec ‘Feel’ Variant

Citroen has introduced a new mid-spec trim to its C3 lineup — the C3 Feel, priced at Rs 6.48 lakh (ex-showroom). While the core mechanicals remain unchanged, the French automaker has packed in several practical features that enhance the hatchback’s appeal, particularly for urban buyers seeking more value without a massive price increase.

New Features

The C3 Feel adds a bundle of convenience and safety upgrades, including:

  • Remote keyless entry

  • Electrically adjustable ORVMs with integrated turn indicators

  • Adjustable headrests (front)

  • Rear power windows

  • Roof rails

  • Passenger sun visor with vanity mirror

  • Ambient cabin lighting

Safety enhancements include dual front airbags and daytime running lamps (DRLs), giving the car a more premium look. These additions bring the C3 closer to its competitors in terms of equipment, helping address one of the key criticisms of the earlier variants — the lack of basic convenience features.

Fuel Tank Upgrade and E20 Compliance

Under the skin, the C3 Feel benefits from a larger 45-litre fuel tank, up from 30 litres. This change translates to a more extended driving range and less frequent visits to the petrol station. Citroen has also confirmed that all C3 variants are now E20-compliant, aligning the model with India’s ethanol-blended fuel roadmap and contributing to cleaner emissions.

Conclusion

Despite no changes to the engine lineup, the new Feel variant responds to evolving customer expectations. By balancing cost with feature upgrades, Citroen positions the C3 Feel as a more well-rounded option in the highly competitive compact hatchback segment.
