BYD plans to launch another model in India, the BYD eMAX 7. This model is an electric MPV that will succeed the e6. The 'e' in its name will represent electric, 'Max' denotes improved aspects like performance, range, and features, while the 7 stands for the change in generation. BYD said it would bring it to India but did not specify any date when it would enter Indian shores.

BYD India Portfolio
Currently, BYD sells two models in India, the Atto 3 and the Seal.
The Atto 3 is powered by a 49.92kWh battery with a claimed range of 468 km. The Premium and Superior trims get the larger 60.48kWh unit that gets a claimed range of 521 km. The power from this battery is used by one front-axle electric motor that produces 201 bhp and 310 Nm of torque. It has features like a 12.8-inch rotating infotainment panel that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 5-inch digital driver panel, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, automatic climate control and electric front seats. Safety is ensured with features like a 360-degree camera, seven airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP and TPMS.
The Seal was launched in March 2024. It is powered by a 61.44kWh one and a larger 82.56kWh one. The RWD version uses a single motor producing 204hp of power and 310 Nm of torque. BYD claims you can run it for 510 km. A similar RWD version of the bigger battery is available with better 312 hp of power and 360 Nm of torque. This comes with a 640 km of claimed range. The last is an AWD version that offers 530 hp of power and 670 Nm of torque. This version has a 0-100 kmph time of 3.8 seconds. It has a range of 580 km. It has features like a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, a heads-up display, an electronically adjustable driver's seat, ventilated front seats that are excellent and head, dual-zone climate control, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
