BMW X3 M Sport Shadow Edition launched in India; prices start from Rs 74.9 lakh

BMW India has launched the BMW X3 M Sport Shadow Edition, with sportier styling and additional features added to the equipment list. Prices for the SUV start from Rs 74.9 lakh and it can only be had with the diesel-engined X3.

The BMW X3 was already a handsome looking SUV, and it has only gotten sportier with the M Sport Shadow edition. The cosmetic tweaks include the double kidney grille which is now finished in black. The tail pipes are also finished in high gloss black, along with the window graphics and the roof rails. The X3 also gets 19-inch alloy wheels, all of which contribute to the SUV’s stealthy looks.

The interior layout of the X3 has not changed with this update, but you do get tweaks to the cabin to keep it fresh against its rivals. You get the M Sport package which brings along with it a set of sports seats, a M leather steering wheel and M interior trim. The cabin is now blacked-out, with leather Vernasca upholstery, which amps up the luxury quotient of this SUV. In terms of equipment, the X3 continues to be feature-loaded, offering a panoramic glass roof and 3-zone automatic climate control.

BMW X3 M Sport Shadow Edition engine

Powering the X3 M Sport Shadow Edition is a 2-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine, which produces 190hp of power and 400Nm of torque. Power is sent to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission, and the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 7.9 seconds. The top speed of the X3 M Sport is 213kmph.

Prices for the BMW X3 M Sport Shadow Edition start from Rs 74.9 lakh (ex-showroom), and the SUV can be had solely with the 2-litre diesel engine.
