BMW iX1 SUV - as the name suggests, 'i' here denotes all-electric propulsion, and the X1 denotes its resemblance to the best-seller fuel-driven X1. iX1 is the fourth electric offering for the Indian market by BMW. BMW iX1 xDrive30 SUV is priced at 66.9 lakhs (ex-showroom). As I already mentioned, iX1 is based on X1 , so the design and exterior look are quite identical, apart from a letter 'i' on the front grille, which will be closed off. The Indian iX1 model doesn't have blue inserts on its bumpers and side skirts as the international version does. The car retains its overall silhouette and is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels.
In terms of features and interiors, the BMW iX1 electric SUV shares a similar dashboard layout. It has a curved 10.7-inch touchscreen infotainment display and a 10.25-inch instrument display. Additionally, the vehicle features adaptive LED headlights, automatic tailgate operation and parking assist for added convenience.
The BMW iX1 gets a 66.4 kWh battery pack, which has a claimed range of 440kms. An AWD drive setup can propel the car from 0-100kmph in 5.6 seconds. The motor produces a combined power output of 309 bhp and torque of 494 Nm.
