BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition Launched At Rs 46 Lakhs

What drives the BMW customers, or rather, say its fanboys? The formidable answer would be performance and driving dynamics, but there is also one factor that catches the attention - THE looks. BMW has released an upgrade featuring 'M' Performance parts that enhance its design language. The 2 Series M Performance edition will be a limited edition and will be offered in the Sapphire Black exterior colour option only.

The 2 Series M Performance edition only has a petrol engine option- a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo unit churning out 179 hp of power and 250 Nm of torque. The car's engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, allowing it to reach 0-100kmph in just 7.1 seconds.

The 2 Series M Performance edition boasts numerous M Performance parts, such as the grille and badges. Notably, the front bumper inserts, grille, and wing mirrors sport a striking Cerium Grey finish for added visual impact. The 2 Series M Performance edition features a black and beige interior colour scheme.

"The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition is much more than a conventional sports coupé. The BMW M Performance parts bring the excitement and flavour of M to the streets and offer owners an opportunity to express their passion for dynamism and individuality. This limited edition elevates the characteristics of the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe to the next level. The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition offers an irresistible driving force, inviting you to step out, stand out and do things your own way - in more ways than one." says Mr Vikram Pawah, President, BMW Group India.

The 2 Series M Performance edition is around Rs 50,000 more expensive than the 220i M Sport Pro trim variant. It rivals the Mercedes-Benz A-class limousine. The car will only be sold in limited quantities and exclusively through the BMW online shop.
