Bajaj Launches 2025 Dominar Lineup with Tech & Touring Upgrades

Bajaj Auto has unveiled the 2025 editions of its Dominar 400 and 250 motorcycles, introducing a range of updates designed to enhance their suitability for serious touring. The new lineup gets a tech boost with features like ride-by-wire, ride modes, and a colour LCD speedo, along with ergonomic tweaks and accessories that touring riders will appreciate.

The Dominar 400 is priced at Rs 2,38,682, and the 250 at Rs 1,91,654 (both ex-showroom, Delhi). Both models are now available across dealerships in India. With these updates, Bajaj is clearly targeting riders who want a balance of tech, power, and practicality without breaking the bank.

Ride-by-Wire, Ride Modes, and More

The biggest change in the Dominar 400 is the inclusion of four ride modes—Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road—enabled by a new ride-by-wire system. This brings a level of electronic sophistication not usually seen at this price point. The Dominar 250 retains a mechanical throttle but still offers four ABS-based ride modes for enhanced safety and control.

Both models also get a redesigned bonded glass speedometer with better visibility and weather protection. The handlebar has been tweaked for improved rider posture and comfort, especially over long distances. A new GPS-ready carrier mount and upgraded control switches round out the key changes.

These aren’t just cosmetic or minor tweaks—these are functional upgrades that make the Dominar more touring-ready straight from the showroom.

Conclusion

Since its debut in 2017, the Dominar series has built a reputation as a capable touring machine. Its rugged perimeter frame, proven engine, and muscular design have made it a favourite for riders taking on everything from weekend escapes to cross-country trips.

Bajaj’s “Dominar Odysseys” initiative has pushed the bike’s touring cred even further, with riders covering over 3 lakh kilometres across seven continents. From Siberia to the Arctic Circle, the Dominar has been put to the test. The 2025 models build on that legacy by adding features that riders previously had to source from the aftermarket.

With this refresh, Bajaj is clearly reinforcing its pitch to India’s growing community of adventure and touring enthusiasts: here’s a bike that’s born to sprint and built to tour.
