The Powertrain

The Freedom 125 gets its power from a 125cc single-cylinder engine that is horizontally mounted and churns out 9.5 hp of maximum power and 9.7 Nm of peak torque. It can run on both CNG and Petrol, with a full tank claimed to last a combined range of 330 km. How do you select the fuel? With a simple switch. So how much fuel does the full tank carry? 2 litres of petrol and 2 kg of CNG, with both having their separate tanks. According to Bajaj, the mileage for CNG is 102 km, and for petrol is 65 kmpl.

Lesser Pollution

If you run the bike on CNG, it produces approximately 26.7% less CO2 emissions than petrol, making it more sustainable and good for the environment. Furthermore, CNG vehicles emit 85% lower NMHCs (non-methane hydrocarbons) and 43% less NOx (nitrogen oxide).

Design

The Freedom 125 has a subtle yet confident stature. Its front and rear have LED headlights along with halogen indicators. The instrument cluster is entirely digital, with an LED display that supports Bluetooth.

Mechanical Side

Its CNG tank is held firmly in a trellis frame that acts as a protective cage. The suspension used is a telescopic fork at the front and a linked monoshock at the back. The seat height of the bike is 825 mm, and the length is 785 mm, which is the best in the segment, according to Bajaj. All of these parts take its total weight to 147 kg.A massive flap on top of the tank gives you access to its air filter. Bajaj claimed that Freedom 125 passed 11 safety tests that included both industry standards and safety standards of their own.
