Audi Q8 Facelift Launched in India at Rs 1.17 Crore

Audi has launched the facelift of their flagship SUV Q8 in India for an updated price of Rs 1.17 Crore. This is its first major upgrade after it was first launched in 2020. This facelift was first seen in the international markets back in 2023. It brings some minor updates to the SUV along with the addition of some features. Here is all you need to know about it:

Design of Audi Q8 facelift

On the outside, the Audi Q8 gets an updated frame and a new set of headlights. These are HD Matrix LEDs that get laser assist in the high beam. The DRLs on the Q8 now get customizable patterns. The grille gets small changes like the new inserts and octagonal openings. The air intakes also get a new shape. Moving to the rear, you will find new OLED tail lights on a majorly unchanged rear design. These lights get a feature that allows them to turn off automatically when a vehicle comes in 2 metres from behind when the car is stopped. The Q8 rides on new 21-inch wheels with a 5-spoke design. There are 8 paint options with the Q8 Facelift: Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey, Glacier White, Satellite Silver, Tamarind Brown, and Vicuna Beige.

Interior of Audi Q8 Facelift

The interiors also remain similar to the previous generation of the Q8. The only change comes with the upholstery and new colour themes for the interior. There are 4 choices to choose from: Okapi Brown, Saiga Beige, Black, and Pando Grey. The feature front remains the same with the two Audi screens for driver information and infotainment, four-zone climate control, heated, ventilated and massaging seats, a heads-up display, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera and a Bang & Olufsen hi-fi system.

Powertrain of Audi Q8 Facelift

The powertrain front is exactly the same as the outgoing model. It is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine that is supported by a 48V mild-hybrid system. The combined output of the system is a power output of 335 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox that transmits power to the wheels through a Quattro all-wheel-drive drivetrain. Performance figures include a 0-100 time of 5.6 seconds and a 250 kmph top speed.

Price Difference and Competition of Audi Q8 Facelift

The facelift brings a Rs 10 lakh premium in the price tag. It enjoys a direct rival-free segment at this point. That being said, the Mercedes GLE and BMW X5 have similar prices, so buyers might pit them against them.
