Aston Martin Vantage, the 665 Bhp Monster, Launched in India at INR 3.99 Crore

Aston Martin has launched the Vantage in India for 3.99 Crore. The Vantage will be the latest entrant of the British carmaker in India. The Vantage is currently the F1 safety car in its special F1 version. The new Vantage is improved on almost all fronts, be it design, powertrain or interiors. Read ahead to find out everything you need to know of it

Design of Aston Martin Vantage

The Vantage 2024 takes the Aston Martin legacy of elegant designs. There is a large grill on the front, with two air intakes on either side. The headlights are now rounder, and larger and the headlight housing gets 3 LED DRLs. The bonnet gets two bold lines that gives it a somewhat frowning look. On the side are flush door handles, an updated fender and air ducts. On the rear, you will find a fresh bumper and rear lights that barely look like any other car.

Interior of Aston Martin Vantage

The Vantage shares multiple bits with the DBX707 when it comes to the interior. The first thing to notice on the inside is a 10.25-inch screen for infotainment. Aston has removed the Mercedes software in it. Instead, they have replaced it with Aston’s interface that gets features like smartphone connectivity through their app, 3D live mapping, wireless smartphone mirroring and on-foot navigation. If you appreciate the physical buttons of Aston Marins, then you won't be disappointed either. These control ESP, exhaust, lane assist, parking sensors, climate control and other essential parts. There is a new steering with a digital instrument cluster behind it.

Powertrain of  Aston Martin Vantage

The real upgrade is under the hood. It gets a Mercedes-sourced 4.0L V8 that is twin turbocharged. This engine can churn out 665 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. How fast is the is 0-100 km/h acceleration? A mere 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 325 km/h. A 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox is paired with it for transmission duties. It sends the power to the rear wheels. Aston Martin says they achieved these performance bumps through an "extensive" tuning programme that provided the motor with new cam profiles, tweaked compression ratios, improved cooling, and, most importantly, bigger turbochargers. The Vantage now gets a ''punchier'' in-gear acceleration and faster shifts. It also has distinct characteristics in each drive mode. Its weight distribution is a perfect 50:50. The adaptive dampers and an electronic rear differential further enhance the performance. It rides on 21-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot S 5 tyres wrapped around them.

Aston Martin claimed that the Vantage will start getting delivered to users in the fourth quarter of 2024.
