TVS has launched the 2022 TVS Apache RTR 160 & the 2022 TVS Apache RTR 180 motorcycles in India. The bikes now come with newer exciting styling and significant feature upgrades.
The bikes see a power increase and a weight reduction of 2Kg & 1Kg, respectively, for the 160 & 180 models allowing for a better power-to-weight ratio which in turn offers a better riding experience.
Segment-leading features like all-LED headlamps and an all-LED taillamp are features on both motorcycles. The bikes also have an advanced Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster and TVS’ SmartXonnect technology. SmartXonnect features voice assistance to improve riding comfort and ease. The bikes also offer the segment's first three ride modes – rain, urban and sport – which shows the bikes’ adaptability to any environment.
The motorcycles also get an X-ring chain, wider 120mm rear tyres and a gear shift indicator with shift assist. The bikes now come with compatibility with the TVS Connect App’s new UI/UX.

The TVS Apache RTR line competes with the Bajaj Pulsar lineup, the Suzuki Gixxer 155 and the Yamaha MT-15.
