KTM has launched the 2022 390 Adventure in India at Rs. 3,28,500 (Ex-showroom Delhi). Before the 250 Adventure came along, the 390 Adventure used to be the entry point in the adventurous world of KTM. For the MY2022, the 390 Adventure has received a few upgrades but the overall recipe is more or less similar as before.
Bookings for the new 390 Adventure have already commenced at KTM showrooms across the country and moreover, easy finance options are also available with special EMIs starting at Rs. 6,999.
Changes Explained
Talking about the updates that it has received, the 390 Adventure gets an updated traction control system which now encompasses two modes – Street and Off-road. The former mode offers normal intervention of the MTC but switching the mode to Off-road will allow some amount of rear-wheel slip while going off the tarmac. In case the rider manages to stall the bike, the new 390 Adventure will stay in the off-road mode.
KTM has also strengthened the new alloy wheels. In its previous iteration, the 390 Adventure used to get 12-spoke alloys while the new one gets 5-spoke alloys. KTM claims that the new alloy wheel setup offers more stiffness and rigidity. Expect the new 390 Adventure to handle impacts in a better way.
To mark the upgrades, KTM has also updated the colour palette of the 390 Adventure. There are two new colourways on offer – Dark Galvano and KTM Factory Racing Blue. The latter makes the 390 Adventure looks more in line with the bigger and badder KTM Adventure motorcycles. Apart from these changes, the 390 Adventure remains exactly the same as before.
It is still powered by the same 373.4cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that puts down 43hp and 37nm. Suspension duties are handled by WP APEX USD forks and adjustable monoshock while the braking department is looked after by BYBRE brakes with 320mm and 280 mm discs with dual-channel ABS.
