ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM CINQUE TERRE | Celebrating The Italian Riviera

Phantom 'Inspired by Cinque Terre' is a stunning, one-of-a-kind Bespoke motor car that beautifully reflects the entrancing appeal and rich viticultural legacy of the renowned Italian Riviera, and it is proudly presented by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

Italian meaning "Five Lands," Cinque Terre is a region of rough coastline in northern Italy. The centuries-old fishing communities of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore are perched on cliffs and are known around the world for their steeply terraced vineyards that look out over the Mediterranean Sea. These vineyards are a genuine wonder in the world of winemaking.

This outstanding automobile honors the area's beautiful vineyards with delicate Bespoke touches found throughout. A hand-applied double coachline in Navy Blue and Jasmine is added to the outside, which is finished in a deep, rich Ligurian blue and enhanced with a delicate grapes design.

Grace White and Navy Blue leather with Jasmine accents create a classic interior. The rear doors are embellished with a delicate grape-branch embroidery. Each item has 9,215 stitches that were created utilizing two separate methods. Satin stitch is used to embroider the grapes, and the threads are meticulously placed to match the angle at which light hits the surface to give each grape a realistic tone and shiny appearance. The Bespoke Collective used a flatter tatami thread for the grape leaf, which creates a textural contrast and improves the tactile aspects of the embroidery.

On both picnic tables, which are constructed of stainless steel and gold plating, the grapes pattern is depicted in an elaborate inlay. Milori blue with a little shimmer was initially applied to the surfaces, giving the color depth and brightness. The inlays were then carefully hand-applied and covered in clear lacquer. The surface was then hand-polished and painstakingly sanded to create a seamless, flawless finish.

The Bespoke Starlight Headliner is enhanced by an embroidered map of Italy that has 14,338 distinct stitches. The Cinque Terre settlements are represented by five bright stars that were manually placed at the border of the beach. It took more than a month to finalize the design, and the Bespoke Collective produced multiple versions to find the ideal line weight for the embroidery: broad enough to let the thread sparkle, yet delicate enough to accurately depict Italy's whole shape.

The magnificent, specifically commissioned artwork, which perfectly depicts the hues, architecture, and dynamic spirit of Cinque Terre, is housed in the Gallery within the car's roomy front. The composition, which represents an imagined fusion of components from each of the five cliffside communities, was first digitally drawn, then hand-airbrushed with water-based acrylic paint to produce an exceptionally fine degree of detail, before being completed with several layers of clear lacquer. The primary elements of the artwork are placed with care in the gallery so that everyone in the automobile can readily observe their wonderful nuances.

The five settlements are embossed in silver inside the glove box as a finishing flourish.

The commissioning client's collection now includes Phantom 'Inspired by Cinque Terre'. It can never be duplicated because it is a genuine one-of-one commission.
