Mercedes-Benz Museum Celebrates 13 Millionth Visitor

A historic milestone was reached at the Mercedes-Benz Museum as it welcomed its 13 millionth visitor. Frédéric Atoun, a visitor from Orléans, France, along with his son Victor, had the honor of being the lucky visitor.

The museum, which opened its doors in 2006, has continued to attract visitors from around the globe. Museum Director Bettina Haussmann expressed her delight, stating, "We are thrilled to have reached this remarkable milestone. The continued popularity of the Mercedes-Benz Museum is a testament to our commitment to showcasing the rich history and innovation of the brand."

Frédéric and Victor, who were also visiting the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, were warmly welcomed by the museum staff and had the opportunity to take a commemorative photo in a classic Mercedes-Benz 500 K Spezial-Roadster from 1936.

The Mercedes-Benz Museum has seen a steady increase in visitor numbers, with almost 16% more visitors in 2024 compared to the previous year. This surge in popularity can be attributed to the museum's unique architecture, extensive collection of vehicles, and engaging exhibits that bring the history of mobility to life.

The museum's international appeal is evident, with visitors from over 65 countries flocking to Stuttgart to experience this automotive wonderland. The European Football Championship held in Stuttgart earlier this year also contributed to the increased visitor numbers, attracting football enthusiasts from around the world.

The Mercedes-Benz Museum continues to be a must-visit destination for automotive enthusiasts and history buffs alike.
