McLaren Hits 50 Sales in India, Celebrates with Exclusive Rajasthan Drive

McLaren Automotive has reached a milestone in India, with 50 supercars now gracing Indian roads. To mark the occasion, McLaren owners drove from Udaipur to Mount Abu and back, taking in Rajasthan’s stunning landscapes and brilliant roads.

The event kicked off at the historic Manak Chowk in Udaipur, where Prince Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar flagged off the convoy. A mix of cultural heritage and performance, the celebration drive brought together McLaren owners from across the country, reinforcing the marque's growing presence in India.

Since establishing its first official dealership in Mumbai in 2022, McLaren has seen strong demand for its lineup, with models like the 720S and its successor, the 750S, leading the charge. Limited-run cars such as the 765LT and the 750S 60th Anniversary Edition have also found buyers in India, emphasizing the country’s appetite for exclusivity.

Lalit Choudary, Dealer Principal of McLaren Mumbai, expressed excitement over the milestone, calling it a testament to India’s growing enthusiasm for the brand. “This achievement underscores the trust and excitement our customers have in McLaren’s unmatched engineering and design,” he said.

India’s supercar market has been expanding rapidly, fueled by rising affluence and an increasing demand for high-performance luxury vehicles. McLaren has been quick to capitalize on this trend, bringing models like the hybrid Artura and the 750S to Indian shores shortly after their global launches.

According to Robert Holtshausen, Market Director for McLaren in the Middle East, India & Africa, the country holds immense potential for the brand. “The growing number of young, affluent consumers and their enthusiasm for performance and innovation create an exciting landscape for McLaren,” he noted.

With 2025 set to be another strong year, McLaren’s commitment to India is clear. The brand isn’t just focusing on selling supercars—it’s building a community of enthusiasts and delivering experiences that go beyond the showroom or race track. The Rajasthan drive perfectly exemplifies that ethos: a celebration of performance, luxury, and the people who make it all possible. We hope to drive along next time.
