Spacious long seat, practical front storage and charger, great city fuel efficiency.
Restrictive companion app navigation UI, lacks Google Maps support on the digital cluster
The Suzuki Access 125 has officially settled into its role as my daily driver for the busy Mumbai roads. After spending another month threading it through heavy city traffic, the standout takeaway is just how phenomenally smooth it feels to ride. The suspension effortlessly absorbs the daily grind of urban roads, and the seating ergonomics remain spot on. I recently took a pillion rider along for a cross-city trip, and the impressively long seat made it a highly comfortable experience for both of us, completely eliminating the cramped feeling you typically get on smaller scooters.
The technology integration has also become a seamless part of my routine. The digital console automatically connects to my phone the moment I turn the key, instantly displaying all necessary details and notifications without any manual pairing fuss. Practicality is where this scooter truly earns its keep. The front pocket compartment is a brilliant addition, making it incredibly easy to quickly store and access small daily items like my glasses case or a small water bottle. Sitting right next to it is the built-in charging port, which has been an absolute lifesaver. When my phone battery is running low and I desperately need to reach a specific destination, I can simply plug it in and charge while I ride.
On the efficiency front, the Access 125 has been returning an impressive average of around 44.8km per litre of petrol. Given it runs exclusively in heavy city traffic, that number is fantastic. Because city speeds naturally keep the scooter running mostly in Eco mode, it gives me incredible peace of mind knowing it is constantly maximizing the distance it can cover per litre. It is swallowing the daily commute perfectly, but how will the scooter's efficiency and braking performance change once it crosses the 1500-kilometre mark? Let’s find out next month.
