Audi India Reveals The 2022 Q3 I Could It Be The Next Big Thing For Audi India?

Audi's smallest SUV - Q3, used to be the brand's highest-selling model. The reason is quite simple- an affordable premium tag, which inspired newer, young buyers. Infact, Audi did tagline Q3 as the 'Start Young'. Now, Audi India wishes to repeat its laurels by revealing the all-new 2022 Q3. The bookings of the Audi Q3 have already started, and one can book it by paying the token amount of Rs 2lakhs. However, the deliveries are promised to commence in the first quarter of 2023. The bookings can be made on the Audi India official website and the 'myAudi Connect' App. Bonus point- The first 500 customers will receive lucrative ownership benefits, including an extended warranty and a comprehensive service package, which will cover an extended warranty of 2+3 years, three years or 50,000 km comprehensive service value package and special loyalty benefits to existing Audi India customers.

The Audi Q3 will come equipped with the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder TSI engine that churns out 190hp and 320 Nm of torque. The engine will come mated with a 7-speed DCT gearbox with Quattro all-wheel drive system.

The Audi Q3 comes in a two-variants - Premium Plus and Technology. Both variants feature Audi's LED Matrix headlights, panoramic glass sunroof, and comfort key with a gesture-controlled tailgate. On the inside, it gets a plethora of features such as an Audi Phone box with wireless charging, an Ambient lighting package plus with 30 colours, leather/leatherette seat upholstery, power-adjustable front seats with four-way lumbar support and an Audi sound system with 10 speakers. Safety is taken with care with six airbags in the front and rear, including front side airbags for maximum protection. Moreover, Q3 will feature the most significant boot space in the segment with 530 litres.

The Audi Q3 has a lot of expectations on its shoulders, and rightfully so because it could be the best volume seller for the Audi in India. It competes against the Mercedes-Benz GLA and BMW X1 . The Merc GLA does not look more prominent and spacious, whereas the BMW X1 is yet to receive any facelifts or updates. BMW might announce something big with X1 soon, hopefully. However, the pricing of X1 always seems to be on the premium side, whereas if Audi prices Q3 quite competitively enough, then it will set the sales chart on fire for the brand. We wish Volvo would also take up centre stage with the XC40 as it is also one of the sensible contenders against Germans.
