"I am stoked to be back on track with the Red Bull family!" says eight-time GP winner Daniel Ricciardo as he confirms to be back in racing action. Daniel was out of the limelight as he took a step away from racing this year as Red Bull's third driver. But now, he would officially replace De Varies At Alpha Tauri. Alpha Tauri is an Italian Formula 1 team owned by Red Bull Racing. Daniel was earlier associated with McLaren, whose contract with the team has not been renewed last year.Daniel Ricciardo was found driving the 2023 RB19 as part of a Pirelli tyre test at Silverstone.
Dutch driver De Vries, on the other hand, was struggling to make an impact on the team. He is a great driver, earned himself a contract by performing well in a Formula 2 and Formula E champion, and made a highly impressive F1 debut for Williams at the Italian Grand Prix last year. However, his performance this year was not up to the mark , making way for Daniel into the team.
Daniel coming to action with Alpha Tauri would hopefully bring glory to the team. Daniel holds a special place for the Venue as he secured the victory title on the same track in the 2014 Hungarian Grand Prix. Currently, AlphaTauri finds itself at the very bottom of the standings and would be looking forward to bringing winning momentum back to the game with Daniel on board.
