Big Achievement! Harith Noah Wins The 2024 Dakar Rally 2 Class And Finishes P11 Overall

India marks a significant achievement in motorsport history, as the Sherco TVS Rally racer Harith Noah wins the 2024 Dakar Rally in the Rally 2 class and finishes 11th in the overall rankings. This is the best ranking ever achieved by an Indian racer. Participation itself is a challenging feat for an athlete, and achieving something of this level of excellence is a  remarkable accomplishment that deserves applause! The journey has not been an easy task for him. In the very first stage - Harith has been going through gruelling mental and physical pressure in the deserts of Saudi, battling headaches and cramps. Witness history in the making as he secures an impressive 3rd position in the Rally 2 class during Stage 3. Harith had a successful 48-hour chrono stage, making steady progress throughout. He climbed up to 17th place from 21st on the first day, and on the second day, he pushed himself even further, finishing in an impressive 12th place. As a result of his hard work, Harith moved up to 13th place in the overall rankings across all categories. He then further encountered stages with even more challenges and resilience. It's worth noting that on stage 10, after covering an impressive 343 kilometers of the race, he demonstrated his remarkable riding skills and emerged as the fastest rider of the day, surpassing two-time winner Ricky Brabec on the challenging dunes. This reflects his commitment to excellence and dedication to continuous improvement.

The 2024 Dakar Rally has been memorable for Indian motorsport enthusiasts, as Hero MotoSports became the first Indian team to score a podium finish at the Dakar Rally. Ross Branch succeeded in securing the second position overall.
