Lectrix EV enters deal with ZEVO for 1000 2-Wheelers

Lectrix EV has entered into a strategic deal with ZEVO for 1000 electric two-wheelers. Lectrix EV is known for its electric two-wheelers, being among the top 10 players in the sector. On the other hand, Zevo is a giant in electric mobility solutions. Let us look into what this deal pertains to:

What is the Deal?

According to the Agreement, Lectrix EV will provide 1000 modern electric two-wheelers to ZEVO that will be deployed in their last-mile delivery operations throughout India. ZEVO will have a continuity of range with Lectrix Ev's Battery Swap Network. This industry-first tackles the biggest issue with electric mobility, which is range anxiety. ZEVO will also have access to Lectrix Ev's comprehensive ecosystem integration.  This ecosystem comprises vehicles, battery solutions, and a robust battery swap network. ZEVO will be able to use this ecosystem to serve its customers better with a B2B fleet.

What is Lectirx's Battery Swap Network

Lectrix is the only original equipment manufacturer (OEM) that offers a swapping network in India. This network offers the customer the option to pay as per swap/kilometre. They claim that A 52-second swap adds 98 km of range to the EV. Their network includes 400 planned Swap stations in Bengaluru, 300 in Delhi/NCR and large numbers of planned swapping stations in Pune and Hyderabad to cover the entire city. The networks ensure that the riders can swap batteries while on the move without worrying about range anxiety. They claim this will eventually reduce downtime and help increase the riders' incomes while also making their experience more convenient.
