Honda NX500 To Launch Soon | Bookings Open

India is embracing adventure culture like never before, and it's all thanks to the accessibility of adventure sports. With more and more people taking part in heart-pumping activities, the country is experiencing a true adventure revolution.OEMs do see quite potential in it, and every other major manufacturer does have their offerings in India. Today, Honda Motorcycles has revealed their mid-capacity ADV - NX500, whose bookings can be made at Honda BigWing's dealership with a token amount of 10000 Rs.The bike will be available in two colors, red and black. Deliveries are expected to start in March. Regarding features, NX500 gets a new 5-inch digital TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity via Honda RoadSync, in-built navigation, and a backlit four-way toggle switch.

The discontinuation of the CB500X led to the introduction of the Honda NX500. It will be powered by the same liquid-cooled 471cc, parallel-twin motor that churns out 47.5hp of peak power and 43Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated with a six-speed gearbox. The bike weighs just 196kg and has a seat height of 830mm - that would add more accessibility to average Indian users. The bike gets a diamond frame with  USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The braking duties are handled by twin disc brakes at the front and a single disc at the rear. The brakes are by Nissin and get a dual-channel ABS as standard. The prices are expected to be around Rs 6-7 lakhs. The bike goes up against the Kawasaki Versys 650.
