Alpine A110 R | Le Mans Limited Edition

Alpine is offering a limited-edition vehicle outfitted with the greatest aerodynamic and lightweight technology to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the endurance competition known as the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Only 100 of the A110 R Le Mans will be made, and it will draw inspiration from its own past in the illustrious race.

"This iconic limited series follows in the legendary footsteps of the GTA Le Mans, combining sophisticated aerodynamics with an incredible power-to-weight ratio, as did the Alpine M63, the first Alpine to compete at Le Mans in 1963," stated Emmanuel Al Nawakil, vice president of Alpine sales. "The A110 R Le Mans is the most radical A110, celebrating the most radical competition."

The A110 R, which already has strong performance metrics, serves as the foundation for the special edition model. On a long enough road, like the Mulsanne straight, it can reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in only 3.9 seconds and can continue going all the way up to 177 mph (285 km/h).

The Alpine A110 R Le Mans has been fitted with suspension settings optimised expressly for high speeds to make it even more stable along straights like that one. That was accomplished with the aid of what Alpine refers to as a "Road & Track chock," a patented invention that stiffens the vehicle by 5% for improved stability on long straights.

The Le Mans edition sports a carbon roof, wheels, monocoque, and Sabelt bucket seat, just as the A110 R. The carbon wing of the limited edition model is meant to mimic the racecars that compete on the Circuit de la Sarthe each year. Additionally, the model has a distinctive livery. The carbon fibre parts of the automobile are painted white with a thin blue double racing stripe running down the middle that is accented by blue fins on the rear wing. The wheels' piping strip around the outside continues the blue theming.

The French flag in the front honours the common heritage of the renowned race and Alpine. The A480, its most recent rival in the race, is specifically mentioned by the shark fin on the carbon rear window panel.

Future owners of the A110 R Le Mans will join Alpine's "Band of Racers" and have unique access to the Alpine Elf Endurance Team facilities at the Le Mans 2024 race in an effort to truly impress purchasers. The morning before the race, they will also get the chance to do a lap around the course.
