The F-Type ZP Edition is the last iteration of the F-Type that Jaguar will produce. This new model won't only be the last edition of the F-Type; when Jaguar switches to an all-electric lineup, it will also be the last sports vehicle powered by internal combustion.
The F-Type ZP Edition will only be produced in 150 units by the British manufacturer in 2024, the last year the automobile will be made. It will be available in just two colours that pay tribute to the E-Type ZP Collection shown earlier this year and will be constructed in both coupe and convertible body configurations. One of these colorways features Oulton Blue Gloss paint with an inside made of duotone leather in Mars Red and Ebony, while the other features Crystal Grey Gloss paint with an interior made of duotone leather in Navy Blue and Ebony.
Whichever colorway buyers choose, they will both feature Porcelain White Gloss front grille surrounds and racing-style roundels on the doors. Additionally, a number of gloss black external components, including as the wing mirrors and brake calipers, will only be available on the F-Type ZP Edition. Additionally, the automobile gets unique branding on the fenders.
Jaguar has created 20-inch Black Diamond Turned forged alloy wheels for the limited-edition car and will add a "One of 150" SV Bespoke plaque to the inside of each vehicle produced.
Every single F-Type ZP Edition that will be produced features the same premium powerplant as the F-Type R P575. The 5.0-liter supercharged V8 in question has 575 horsepower and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque. An eight-speed automatic gearbox that transmits power to all four wheels is mated to this engine. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.5 seconds and then proceed to a peak speed that is electronically regulated at 186 mph (300 km/h).
"This is an unrepeatable celebration of Jaguar's internal combustion sports car provenance as Jaguar embarks on the boldest transformation in its history, to become a modern luxury all-electric brand from 2025," Jaguar managing director Rawdon Glover said. Just like the E-type did five decades earlier, the F-TYPE has captured the attention of sports car drivers for more than a decade. The ZP Edition, which joins a distinguished list of collector's editions inspired by legacy releases like the 2015 Project 7 and 2020 legacy 60 Edition, is the pinnacle celebration of that bloodline.
