Abarth unveiled the final iteration of the combustion-powered 695, which is scheduled to hit showrooms abroad in November.
The model that was introduced in Europe around a year ago is the same as the 2023 Abarth 695 that will be available in Australia. It will only be available in the 695 Competizione version, with prices beginning at AU$37,900 ($23,898).
With 132 kW (177 horsepower), the company's well-known 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder powers the 2023 Abarth 695 Competizione. Customers have the option of pairing this engine with either an automatic gearbox or a five-speed manual transmission, if they would choose. Both variants use Abarth's Record Monza quad exhausts and transfer power to the front wheels regardless of the gearbox chosen.
The 2023 Abarth 695 Competizione boasts a number of notable features, including a 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, privacy glass, 17-inch alloy wheels, Koni suspension up front and back, and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The aggressive hot hatch also has a new matte black console and a black Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with carbon fiber accents.
Racing Orange, a vivid new hue introduced to the Abarth color scheme, is new for 2023. Additionally, customers have the option to choose between Record Grey, Scorpion Black, Racing Red, or Gara White paint jobs. For instances painted in Record Grey, Gara White, Racing Red, and Racing Orange, there is also a Scorpion Black roof available.
