The dates are finally out! There has been quite a buzz around the internet for launching the new facelifted avatar of Kia Seltos. The car was launched in 2019, and ever since then, it hasn't been updated, despite the facelifted Seltos having made its global debut in June 2022. The new facelift gets major cosmetic changes, minor interior updates and a new engine option.
Kia Seltos would incorporate a significant overhaul in terms of exterior design.The front fascia of the car now looks more sporty, all thanks to a larger and revised grille with redesigned LED headlamp and foglamp unit. On the side, the alloy wheels' design has changed and will even feature 17-inch wheels, depending on the variants. The rear has got a lot of youthful changes. The prominent is the long LED strip running across the car's rear end. Elongated taillamp - the trend that has been catching up with the latest design of new-age cars will also take centre stage in the new Seltos.
On the inside, it will feature a fully digital instrument cluster and infotainment unit as a single large display unit. The dashboard layout would be enhanced, and further basic changes would be made to give it a fresh avatar from the inside. Incorporation of the ADAS system is highly possible as well as the large panoramic sunroof would also be added as a feature.
The Seltos has two engine options - a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine producing 116hp of power and 250Nm of torque. There is also a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 115hp of power and 144Nm of torque. Kia will most likely introduce the new 1.5-l turbo petrol engine that produces 160 hp of power and 250 Nm of torque.
