Transform Your Car Collection with This Decepticon Mustang

If you're in the market for a car that’s seen a fair amount of action, both on and off the screen, then this 2016 Ford Mustang could be the perfect addition to your garage. But not just any Mustang—this one starred as the sinister Decepticon Barricade in Transformers: The Last Knight and is now up for sale.

The Barricade You Know (And Maybe Fear)

Decked out in metallic blue paint with a police livery (which, for the record, swaps the standard "To Protect and Serve" slogan for a much more ominous "Keep Calm and Hail Megatron"), this Mustang looks ready to do battle. Of course, it's all a bit more movie magic than actual transforming, but with some key modifications, it’s clear this is no ordinary muscle car.

The Mustang has been treated to a carbon rear wing, side skirts, and front crash bars, giving it that aggressive stance fit for a villainous robot. The hood? Raised with massive scoops. There’s a light bar and extra spot lamps that wouldn’t look out of place in a high-speed chase. And yes, those deliberate gaps in the bumpers? They're meant to hint at the car's ability to morph into its robotic form. It’s all about the illusion of transformation, really.

Not Just a Pretty Face

Pop the hood, and you’ll find the regular 5.0-litre V8, pumping out 435 bhp and 542 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a manual gearbox—because, of course, a Decepticon needs to feel in control of every gear shift. This setup allows the Mustang to reach 100 kmph in just 4.3 seconds. It’s fast, loud, and certainly capable of taking on the Autobots, if it ever came down to it.

Inside, the car retains its factory spec, with just a couple of modifications, handles to direct the spot lamps when you're showing off those powerful beams. It's as functional as it is cinematic, with all the original features you’d expect from a 2016 Mustang.

Low Mileage, High Value

Despite being a key player in one of the highest-grossing action films of 2017, this Barricade Mustang has only covered about 1,287 km. That’s right, just 1,287 km since it left the factory, including its international film appearances. And yes, it comes with all the official documentation to prove its Hollywood fame, including a certificate signed by none other than director Michael Bay.

So, if you’ve got a penchant for classic cars, pop culture, and the occasional run-in with an Autobots spy, this could be your ticket to owning a piece of cinematic history. Don’t expect it to transform, but with a manual transmission and a V8 engine, it will definitely add to your car collection.
