Rolls-Royce Unveils the Black Badge Spectre

The world is shifting towards electric vehicles, and for a luxury brand like Rolls-Royce, it’s a natural evolution. With a silent cabin and exceptional refinement, the EV platform has allowed Rolls-Royce to create its fastest car ever—the Black Badge Spectre. Now, the brand is setting its sights on a share of the luxury performance EV market, proving that luxury and performance can go hand in hand.

Performance

The Black Badge Spectre is powered by a 102 kWh battery pack that produces a maximum power of 649.9 bhp and 1075 Nm of torque. On a single charge, the car can travel 493-530 km. It also has two driving modes.

Infinity Mode: The car also has an infinity mode, producing a more direct throttle response. Once this mode is activated, the dials become more vibrant to match the car’s character change.

Sprinted Mode: Spirited Mode in the Black Badge Spectre gives an instant burst of power for rapid acceleration. By pressing the brake and throttle together and then releasing the brake, the car unlocks 1075 Nm of torque, launching from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.1 seconds.

Design

The Black Bage Spectre looks like any other Rolls-Royce, with its signature Pantheon Grille, Spirit of Ecstacy, double R emblem, and door handles all finished in dark chrome like every other Black Badge edition. The car debuts in Vapour Violet and will be available in 44,000 colours. Alternatively, customers can develop a Bespoke hue reserved for their exclusive use in collaboration with Rolls-Royce designers. You also get 23-inch five-spoked forged aluminium wheels in black or part polished finish.

Interiors

The interior of the Black Badge Spectre blends luxury with modern design. One of its standout features is the Illuminated Fascia, which includes 5,500 tiny lights forming an abstract Spirit of Ecstasy pattern. The Black Badge Infinity symbol, representing limitless power, is stitched into the rear seat area. The cabin also features a Technical Fibre finish, with hand-laid carbon and metal threads creating a diamond weave pattern. Drivers can personalise their experience with five instrument dial colours, including Neon Nights and Ultraviolet, while Illuminated Black Badge Treadplates add an extra touch of exclusivity.

Conclusion

Overall, the Black Badge Spectre is an exceptional luxury and performance package. Rolls-Royce currently sells the Cullinan and Ghost Black Badge models in India, so it is very much possible for Rolls-Royce to launch the Back Badge Spectre in India. The real question is, how much will this car cost in the Indian market?
