The much awaited MG Majestor SUV has finally been unveiled, and it comes packed with a lot of kit. MG says that this D+ segment SUV is the largest vehicle (tallest+widest and longest)n in its category. It's powered by a 2-litre turbo-diesel engine paired to an 8-speed torque conmverter automatic gearbox, will be available in three variants and three colours - in 6 or 7 seater options. Pre-bookings are now open, at ₹41,000, across all MG dealers in the country, prices will to be announced in April 2026 and deliveries will start in May 2026. Here are all its details:
MG Majestor Design and Interior
The Majestor is a successor to the Gloster and features a revised front fascia. It has a bigger grille flanked by vertical DRLs, a split headlight setup with two more DRLs at the top of the primary three LED pod headlight cluster on either side. The SUV features butch body cladding, rides on 19-inch alloy wheels, and gets a connected LED tail light setup at the back. MG will offer the Majestor in four colour options: Pearl White, Metal Black, Concrete Grey and Metal Ash.
Inside, you'll find that the front seats come with ventilation and massage functions. The driver gets a 12-way powered seat for easy adjustment. There's also a panoramic sunroof that should add a sense of space inside the cabin, plus 64-colour ambient lighting, three-zone climate control, two wireless charging pads at the front, a 220-volt power outlet and Type-C USB ports for rear passengers. The MG Majestor gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also features a fully digital instrument cluster for the driver. It has a 12-speaker JBL sound system with a subwoofer, and MG’s iSmart operating system, which offers 75 connected features. These include keyless go, app-based controls and internet connectivity supported by Reliance Jio. The Majestor offers 343 litres of boot space with the third row seats up. When the third row is folded down, boot space expands to 1,350 litres. To access this space, there's a power tailgate.
On the safety front, it comes with Level-2 ADAS including lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and high beam assist. There's also hill-hold and hill descent control for better control on slopes. Six airbags are standard across all variants.
MG Majestor off-road kit
The Majestor will available in three variants: Sharp 4x2, Savvy 4x2 and Savvy 4x4. Buyers can choose between rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options depending on their driving needs. The Savvy 4x4 variant is designed for buyers who want serious off-road capability. It features the M-HUB 4x4 system with 10 off-road modes. It also gets a triple differential lock, which helps improve grip on difficult surfaces. The SUV has an 810 mm water wading capacity.
MG is offering a 5-year unlimited kilometre warranty with the Majestor for the first 3000 buyers. In addition to this, these customers will also get 5-year roadside assistance and five labour-free services.
Booking and Launch Details
Pre-bookings for the MG Majestor are open at ₹41,000. The official price announcement will take place in April 2026, and deliveries will begin in May 2026.
