JSW-MG India has officially launched its highly anticipated electric sports car, the MG Cyberster, at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Positioned as the fastest roadster yet, the Cyberster marks a bold entry into the Indian luxury EV segment. It will be exclusively sold through MG Select, a premium retail network launched by the automaker to cater to high-end customers.
Powertrain and Performance
The MG Cyberster is powered by a 77 kWh battery pack paired with dual electric motors—one on each axle—making it an all-wheel-drive vehicle. The Cyberster’s electric powertrain delivers a stunning 503 bhp and 725 Nm of torque, with a claimed 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds.
Range and Stability
With a claimed range of 580 km on a single charge (as per the China Light-duty Vehicle Test Cycle or CLTC), the Cyberster is designed for extended drives. Advanced suspension systems, including double-wishbone front suspension and a five-link independent rear suspension, enhance driving dynamics. Its 50:50 weight distribution ensures stability at high speeds, making it a blend of performance and control.
