Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV Night Series Debuts in India at ₹2.63 Crore

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the Maybach EQS SUV Night Series in India, priced at ₹2.63 crore (ex-showroom). The launch took place during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This special edition brings distinctive design elements, a dual-tone exterior, and an opulent interior theme to the fully electric SUV. Notably, the Maybach EQS SUV Night Series joins the existing Night Series lineup, which includes the Maybach S-Class and Maybach GLS.

Design:

The Maybach EQS SUV Night Series retains the fundamental design language of the standard EQS SUV but incorporates several exclusive enhancements. These include dark chrome accents, rose gold details, and bespoke alloy wheels with a glossy Maybach pattern.

Key design elements:

• Darkened Maybach pinstripes on the closed-off grille.
• Polished black window frames.
• Black-finished running boards.

The SUV has exclusive paint options, such as Obsidian Black and Manufaktur Diamond White, and a signature dual-tone combination of Obsidian Black and Mojave Silver.

Interior:

The EQS SUV Night Series cabin shows Maybach’s commitment to luxury, featuring a herringbone pattern decor. The seats are upholstered in vegetable-tanned leather, available in shades of white or black and black pearl, complemented by grey decorative stitching. Additional interior highlights include Econyl floor mats and a custom startup animation for the infotainment system.

• Dual 11.6-inch rear displays with an MBUX tablet.

• MBUX Hyperscreen comprises three separate displays.

Powertrain and Performance

Under the hood, the Maybach EQS SUV Night Series is expected to feature the same powertrain as the standard Maybach EQS SUV. This includes a 118 kWh battery pack and a dual electric motor setup delivering:

• 648 bhp.
• 950 Nm of torque.

The electric SUV boasts a WLTP-certified range of up to 600 km. Its performance figures include a 4.4-second 0–100 km/h time and a top speed of 210 km/h.

Charging Capabilities

The Maybach EQS SUV supports high-speed DC charging with a capacity of up to 200 kW, enabling the battery to recharge from 10 to 80 per cent in just 31 minutes. A 15-minute charge can provide an estimated 220 km of range. Additionally, the SUV is equipped with a 22 kW onboard AC charger, capable of a full charge in approximately 5 hours and 50 minutes.
