Mahindra reopens bookings for BE 6 Batman Edition at ₹28.49 lakh

Mahindra has announced the return of the BE 6 Batman Edition, reopening bookings for its themed electric SUV after the original allocation sold out at launch.  Priced at ₹28.49 lakh ex-showroom.

The first batch of 999 units sold out in 135 seconds, making it one of the quickest-selling special editions from the brand. Following continued interest from customers who missed the initial booking window, Mahindra has decided to offer another limited opportunity to purchase the SUV.

Preference registration opens on March 6 through Mahindra’s electric SUV website. Bookings will begin on March 10 at 11 am and will remain open for one day. Deliveries are scheduled to commence from April 10. Customers referred by existing BE 6 Batman Edition owners will receive priority delivery.

The Batman Edition is based on the top Pack Three variant of the BE 6 equipped with the 79kWh battery pack. The SUV has been developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products and draws design inspiration from The Dark Knight trilogy.

Exterior highlights

The BE 6 Batman Edition is finished in a satin black exterior shade and rides on 20-inch alloy wheels. Gold finished suspension components and brake callipers provide contrast against the dark bodywork.

Batman-themed detailing is visible across the car, including the Bat emblem on the hubcaps, front quarter panels, rear bumper, windows, and rear windshield. The SUV also features an Infinity Roof with the Bat emblem and carpet lamps that project the symbol on the ground when the doors are opened.

Interior treatment

Inside, the cabin gets a charcoal and gold theme. The dashboard carries a brushed gold Batman Edition plaque, while the instrument panel is finished in charcoal leather with gold accents around the driver's cockpit.

The seats feature suede and leather upholstery with gold stitching, along with Bat emblem detailing. Additional touches include gold-accented controls, a customised key fob, race-inspired door straps and a Batman-themed welcome animation on the infotainment system. With the original run selling out within minutes, Mahindra’s decision to reopen bookings offers another chance for buyers who missed the earlier allocation.
