Jeep Unveils a Retro-Themed Wrangler 4xe Willys ‘41

The 2024 limited edition pays homage to the 1941 Willys MB used by the United States military during World War II. It also has a mouthful of a name, such as Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys ‘41. For those with a keen eye on the industry, you might have already spotted similarities with the ‘41 concept showcased in the 2022 Jeep Easter Safari. The limited edition is exclusively for the US market. Anyways, Let’s dive deep into the details of this intimidating vehicle.

The Exterior of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys ‘41

The limited edition sports a special Olive green colour, which matches the original 1941 Willys MB. The more striking feature is the rims, which are also covered in military Olive green. Additionally, it wears period-correct decals and a plaque. While the original Willys MB and Wrangler Olive can be distinguished due to the gloss finish in the new one, the drab blue badging and military-inspired stickers complement the homage. The 17-inch aluminum rims wear 31-inch chunky all-terrain rubber.

The limited edition Wrangler can be configured with a hard top or a soft top, both of which will sport a drab Olive green shade. And yes, there are options for those who want an electric-powered sliding or foldable roof.

On the inside, Jeep has put some effort into carrying forward the limited edition theme. The seat upholstery is converted to tan-coloured cloth material, while the dash sports an Olive-drab shade. Finally, there's a special ‘41 medallion in white font on the gear shift knob.

The Powertrain of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys ‘41

The original forefather, Willys MB, and the present spiritual grandson, Jeep Wrangler 4xe limited edition, are only offered with four-cylinder engines. However, the latter produces around 60 bhp, while the former puts out 370 bhp and 637 Nm of torque. This is achieved by a 2.0-litre engine combined with two electric motors assist. Like every other true Jeep, it has 4x4 capabilities and is also Trail-Rated.
