To mark its return to global adventure challenges, Defender is also launching the new Defender 110 Trophy Edition. This special edition vehicle is available in two heritage-inspired colours: Deep Sandglow Yellow and Keswick Green. These colours pay homage to Defenders used in past international Trophy-style events and rural exploration in the UK.
The Trophy Edition boasts an adventure-ready specification. This includes new Gloss Black 20-inch alloy wheels wearing rugged All-Terrain Tyres, a Dark Rear Scuff Plate, and Gloss Black Wheelarch Protection, with a Black front undershield. Optional accessories such as an Expedition Roof Rack, a Black Deployable Roof Ladder, a Gloss Black Side-Mounted Gear Carrier, Front and Rear Classic Mud Flaps, and a Raised Air Intake are also available for enhanced off-road capability.

Defender Trophy: A Global Adventure Returns
Defender is also launching an all-new global adventure competition, the Defender Trophy, inspired by past iconic Trophy and Challenge events. This unique initiative aims to find individuals with an "unstoppable spirit of adventure". The competition will culminate in a global final held in Africa in 2026, in partnership with Defender's conservation partner, Tusk.
The Competition: Are You Made for It?
The Defender Trophy will feature three demanding rounds of training and competition. Local selections are set to begin this summer, followed by national finals next spring, determining who will advance to the global final in Africa in autumn 2026.
Entrants will face a selection of mental and physical challenges, testing their wit, willpower and teamwork. The global final will involve teams competing in a series of stages, including:
Driving Challenges: Demanding tests of driving ability and navigation skills as teams tackle tough trails, rocky inclines and hidden drops.
Ingenuity Challenges: Innovation will be key to success as teams think fast, work smart and keep their cool.
Physical Challenges: Daunting feats of physical strength, coordination and teamwork as teams traverse canyons and cross rivers.
Eligibility requirements include being a resident in a participating country, over 23 years old, able to swim 50m, eligible to drive and travel internationally, and fluent in English.
