Audi Q7, Receives a Facelift in India at ₹88.66 Lakh

Audi India has unveiled the facelifted Q7, one of its most celebrated luxury SUVs, now available at a starting price of Rs 88.66 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest iteration of the Q7 has subtle design enhancements, interior updates, and new convenience features while retaining its powerful V6 engine. Here's a closer look at what the updated Q7 has to offer.

Design

The 2024 Audi Q7 features refined design elements that enhance its striking presence. At the front, the iconic grille retains its shape but now incorporates hexagonal styling details and chrome inserts. The bumper has been subtly revised, while the central air intake and side air curtains showcase new designs. The sleeker LED headlights are paired with DRLs positioned above the headlamps, further modernising the front fascia.

Moving to the side, the alloy wheels are available in sizes ranging from 20 to 22 inches, offering a fresh visual dynamic. The silhouette remains unchanged, but at the rear, the LED tail lamps now sport sleeker designs with updated lighting elements. Complementing these changes are a roof-mounted spoiler, shark-fin antenna, and dual exhaust pipes, lending a sporty touch to this sophisticated SUV.

Buyers can choose from five exterior colours: Sakhir Gold, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey, and Glacier White.

Interior and Features

Step inside the 2024 Audi Q7, and you’ll find minimal changes to the dashboard layout. The plush interior continues to feature glossy black panels, a hallmark of Audi’s modern design ethos. The Cedar Brown upholstery adds warmth and elegance to the cabin.

The dual-screen setup includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10-inch digital driver’s display. The infotainment system now supports third-party apps, while the updated driver display provides additional alerts via the enhanced driver assistance system.

Luxury and convenience are front and centre, with features like:

  • 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system
  • Multi-colour ambient lighting
  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Four-zone climate control
  • Powered tailgate with a kick sensor
  • Air quality control with fragrance

Safety is a priority, with the Q7 offering eight airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a 360-degree camera, and an advanced driver assistance suite.

Powertrain

Under the hood, the Audi Q7 retains its 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine, delivering 340 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, channelling power to all four wheels via Audi’s Quattro system.

Performance makes it capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 kmph in a claimed 5.6 seconds and reaching a top speed of 250 kmph.

Price and Competitors

The facelifted Audi Q7 starts at Rs 88.66 lakh (ex-showroom) and positions itself against formidable rivals such as the Mercedes-Benz GLE, Volvo XC90, and BMW X5 in the luxury SUV segment.

With its updated design, advanced features, and powerful engine, the Audi Q7 facelift ensures it remains a top contender in its class, delivering luxury and performance in equal measure.
