2026 TATA Punch EV facelift partially revealed

Tata Motors has officially unveiled the Punch EV facelift, the first mid-cycle upgrade for the electric SUV since its 2024 introduction. Prices and complete specs will be revealed on the 20th of February, which is the official reveal date of the upgraded model.

Tata Punch EV Design

The new Tata Punch facelift sports a new front fascia. It has a redesigned front bumper and skid plate, sleeker LED DRLs joined by a black strip (the new model omits the lightbar that was present on the outgoing model), and trapezoidal pods housing the headlights and fog lights. It also has  received a set of new aero-optimised wheels which should add (slightly) more range of the EV. For now, Tata has revealed just the front three-fourth angle of the new Punch EV, but we can expect it to have a redesigned rear-end too – similar to the new Punch facelift – complete with a full-width LED lightbar, and a similar silver skid plate treatment like the front. The Punch EV facelift will be available with a new ‘Sunlit Yellow’ shade – an option that we first saw on the Harrier facelift.

Tata Punch EV Interior: what to expect?

The new Tata Punch EV's cabin will feature a massive central touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, a dual-spoke steering wheel, and an air-conditioning system with touchscreen controls. It may be a possibility that ADAS Level 2 may be added, but the photos posted by Tata show no spots for the sensors, which may squash the rumors about it. This is still unconfirmed, as we are waiting for the launch on the 20th of February.

Tata Punch EV facelift powertrain

While Tata Motors hasn’t given away full details of the powertrain yet, we can expect the new Punch to carry over the identical battery choices as the previous model which was available with two battery options – 25kWh and 35kWh – with up to 365km of IDC-claimed range.
