Updated Bajaj Pulsar N250SS Launched at ₹1.59 Lakh; Gets 4-Valve Engine, 6-Speed Gearbox and TFT Display

Bajaj Auto has introduced the updated Pulsar N250SS in India, bringing a series of mechanical and feature upgrades to the quarter-litre motorcycle. The latest version gets a four-valve engine, a six-speed gearbox, an Electronic Throttle Body (ETB) with ride modes and a new 5-inch TFT display with Google Maps mirroring. The updated Pulsar N250SS is priced at ₹1.59 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The latest update builds on the existing Pulsar N250, with improvements to its engine output, transmission and technology package. Power has increased from 24.5hp to 25hp, while torque has gone up from 21.5Nm to 22Nm.

Engine and Gearbox

The updated Bajaj Pulsar N250SS is powered by a four-valve engine that produces 25hp and 22Nm of torque. Compared to the previous version, which produced 24.5hp and 21.5Nm, the revised motorcycle offers a modest increase in both power and torque.

Another key change is the introduction of a six-speed gearbox, replacing the five-speed unit on the older Pulsar N250. The additional gear gives the motorcycle a revised transmission setup, while the higher output further distinguishes the updated model from its predecessor.

The motorcycle also gets an Electronic Throttle Body (ETB), which brings ETB ride modes alongside the existing ABS modes.

Features

One of the biggest upgrades to the Pulsar N250SS is its new 5-inch TFT instrument console, which replaces the LCD display on the earlier model. The new console supports Google Maps mirroring, adding navigation functionality to the motorcycle's equipment list.

The updated model also gets a Sports Shifter, further expanding its rider-focused technology package. Other additions include adjustable levers, a USB Type-C charging port, a hazard switch and Panic Brake Alert.

These updates bring additional convenience and safety-related features to the Pulsar N250SS, while the combination of the TFT display, ETB ride modes and revised transmission gives the motorcycle a more technology-focused package.

Pricing

The updated Bajaj Pulsar N250SS has been launched in India at ₹1.59 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With the new four-valve engine, six-speed gearbox and additional electronic features, the N250SS represents an upgrade over the previous Pulsar N250 in both mechanical specifications and equipment.

The latest update focuses on improving the motorcycle's performance figures while adding features such as Google Maps mirroring, ETB ride modes and a Sports Shifter to its existing package.
