Royal Enfield Partners With Madhya Pradesh Tourism For 1,520-Km Motorcycle Expedition

Royal Enfield has partnered with the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) to promote responsible motorcycling, cultural exploration and experiential travel across the state. The two organisations have signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), running from 2026 to 2028, with the collaboration aimed at combining Royal Enfield’s Pure Motorcycling philosophy with Madhya Pradesh’s wildlife, heritage and cultural landscape.

As part of the partnership, the first edition of a specially curated motorcycle expedition has been flagged off in Bhopal. The expedition commenced on October 1, 2026, and will conclude on October 10, covering more than 1,520 km across some of Madhya Pradesh’s most prominent destinations.

1,520-Km Motorcycle Expedition Across Madhya Pradesh

The inaugural expedition features 20 riders from different parts of India, who are travelling through the state on Royal Enfield Bullet 650 motorcycles. The route takes riders from Bhopal through Pachmarhi, Pench, Kanha, Bandhavgarh and Panna before returning to Bhopal.

The 1,520-km route includes a mix of mountain roads, jungle highways and historic hinterland passages. Along the way, riders will experience Madhya Pradesh’s wildlife sanctuaries, heritage corridors and lesser-explored trails.

Focus On Responsible Riding And Cultural Immersion

The partnership aims to encourage riders to move beyond conventional tourist routes and experience destinations from the saddle of a motorcycle. Royal Enfield and MPTB intend to use the collaboration to promote responsible riding while creating opportunities for deeper engagement with local communities, traditions, food and landscapes.

According to Royal Enfield, the partnership reflects its philosophy that motorcycling is about the journey rather than simply reaching a destination. Madhya Pradesh, with its combination of forests, heritage sites, rural landscapes and winding roads, provides a broad setting for this approach to travel.

Bullet 650 Leads The Expedition

The inaugural expedition is being undertaken on the recently launched Royal Enfield Bullet 650, which brings the company's classic Bullet design philosophy to its larger 650cc platform.

Carrying the Old School Forever identity, the Bullet 650 serves as the motorcycle for the expedition, giving riders an opportunity to explore Madhya Pradesh while experiencing Royal Enfield's latest interpretation of its iconic motorcycle.

More Motorcycle Journeys Planned

The first expedition is only the beginning of the two-year collaboration. Over the course of the MoU, Royal Enfield and the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board plan to develop additional formats, including co-curated heritage rides, off-road trail explorations and experiential motorcycle journeys.

The inaugural expedition is scheduled to conclude with a closing ceremony in Bhopal on October 9. The event will feature regional cultural performances, a celebratory feast and formal recognition of the participating riders.

Through the partnership, Royal Enfield and MPTB aim to position Madhya Pradesh as a destination for motorcycle-led exploration while encouraging travellers to experience the state's natural and cultural heritage in a more immersive and responsible manner.
