India Bike Week is heading back to Panchgani. The 13th edition of the motorcycle festival is scheduled for December 4–5, 2026, following its debut in the hill town last year. For 2026, organisers are expanding the event beyond the festival grounds with an initiative called IBW Town Takeover, which will bring rides, trails, campsites and after-parties into Panchgani and its surrounding areas.
The festival will also move to a venue that is 50 per cent larger than last year's location. According to the organisers, the expanded space will provide more parking and grassed areas, while reducing dust and giving visitors more room to move around the festival.
Four Racetracks and a New Bike Build-off
One of the bigger additions for 2026 will be four dedicated racetracks, where participants will compete for a total prize pool of up to Rs 12 lakh. The event will also feature a Stunt Arena, including a special performance by an international athlete, although the identity of the performer has not yet been announced.
The Jameson Ginger Ale X IBW Bike Build-Off Competition will also return as part of the programme. Amateur builders will be given a motorcycle and a 50-day window to create a custom bike within a specified budget. The winning builders will receive a Harley-Davidson X440T, along with mentorship from Harsh Man Rai, Anand Dharmaraj and Shail Sheth. The eventual winner will also get an opportunity to showcase the build at the Adventure Bike Rider Festival 2027.

Other attractions announced for IBW 2026 include The Big Trip, curated by Candida Louis, which will bring international overlanders on stage to discuss their journeys. The Misfits Collection, curated by Yogi Chhabria, will feature unusual motorcycles from across India, while the Mod Bike Competition, judged by Arjun Raina, will focus on custom motorcycles and their craftsmanship.
IBW will Spill into Panchgani
The biggest change for 2026 is arguably the decision to take the festival into the town itself. The IBW Town Takeover will include official after-parties at venues across Panchgani, along with additional local ride-outs and trails. Organised rides to the festival are also planned from Bengaluru, Kochi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Ahmedabad and other cities, with tour operators involved in putting the rides together.
For riders who don't want to ride their motorcycles all the way to Panchgani, the Arrive and Ride initiative will offer motorcycle transportation to Pune and Satara through cargo carriers. Further details of the service are yet to be announced.
IBW will also have a festival campsite with cliffside views, spaces for SUV campers and after-parties. The organisers say the campsite will have permanent toilet facilities. An expo featuring more than 100 retailers will showcase riding gear, accessories, motorcycle products and upgrades.

The organisers have stated that ticket prices and benefits will change once the Early Bird phase ends. More details on the music line-up, speakers and new motorcycle launches are expected to be announced closer to the event.
